TPC

The Players Championship

The Players Championship (TPC) is a major supporter of charities in Northeast Florida. This year, there are two opportunities for The Clothes Closet and Food Pantry (CCFP)  to benefit from their generosity. Please spread the word to friends that would like to support us!

First, Chip-in for Charity is TPC’s ticket fundraising platform that invites nonprofit organizations to earn $40 from every competition round ticket (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) purchased in their name. When purchasing a stadium pass for one of those days, simply push the unlock button and enter our code: 645QEQ. Your price remains the same, but CCFP will receive $40.

Secondly, Birdies for Charity is a fundraising platform available to all nonprofits based in Northeast Florida. Charitable organizations are encouraged to invite their supporters to make a minimum $20 contribution that will allow them to guess the number of birdies that will be made during the competitive rounds of TPC (Thursday-Sunday). An individual who guesses the exact number of birdies (or closest to without going over) will have the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000. The winner may keep the prize or donate to the participating charity of their choice. Participating charities will receive 100% of every pledge collected for their organization, as well as funding from a $100,000 bonus pool provided by THE PLAYERS.

You can print the form from this link or pick one up at the Clothes Closet and Food Pantry (CCFP) and return it with your donation (cash or check made out to CCFP).   You can also submit online with a credit card by clicking here scrolling down to select The Clothes Closet and Food Pantry as your charity. More details can be found THEPLAYERS.com/Birdies including past winning guesses. (Limit 10 submissions per household) Average birdies since 2008 is 1564 and balls in water 46…to aid in your guesses.
